By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use & End User License Agreement (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on iOS devices that you own or control, solely for personal and non-commercial purposes.
For copies obtained via the Apple App Store, these Terms supplement the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If there is a conflict, the Apple EULA may apply to the extent required by Apple’s policies. Apple Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
You may not: (a) copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as permitted by law; (b) remove proprietary notices; (c) circumvent technical protections; (d) use the App for unlawful purposes.

You must be legally able to form a contract in your country (typically 13+ with guardian consent, or as required by local law). You are responsible for your device, internet connection, and keeping your settings secure.

The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions sold and billed by Apple via your Apple ID. Prices and availability vary by region and are shown in-app and on the App Store product page at the time of purchase.
Subscription titles and lengths (examples; your region may localize names/prices): • NovelADV Premium (Monthly) – Renews every 1 month at the price shown in-app. • NovelADV Premium (Yearly) – Renews every 12 months at the price shown in-app. Where displayed, we may show an approximate per-month equivalent for convenience.
Free trials / introductory offers (if available): When a trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited when you subscribe.
Billing & renewal: Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID may be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
Manage or cancel: You can manage or cancel at any time in iOS: Settings › [Your Name] › Subscriptions (or App Store app › Account › Subscriptions). Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
Refunds: Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests should be submitted via Apple at https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ or per your region’s Apple support policies.
Restore Purchases: On a new device, use the App’s Restore Purchases option while signed in with the same Apple ID.
We may change subscription offerings, features, or pricing prospectively. If required by law, we will provide advance notice.

The App enables creation, generation, and storage of stories, characters, and media using on-device logic and/or third-party AI models/services. • AI Output: AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for evaluating output before use. Do not rely on the App for medical, legal, or other professional advice. • Your Content: You retain any rights you hold in content you create. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate and improve the App (e.g., to perform backups/restores you trigger). • Prohibited Use: Do not submit or generate content that is illegal; infringes IP; involves harassment, hate, or exploitation; or violates platform policies or local law. Do not attempt to abuse rate limits or security.
We may remove content or suspend/terminate access for violations.

For purchases and subscriptions, Apple may also process your personal data in accordance with Apple’s policies.

The App, including its software, design, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the license granted in Section 1, no rights are transferred.

The App may interact with third-party services (e.g., model providers, cloud storage). We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their terms. Your use of such services may be governed by separate terms.

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Our aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the amount you paid for the App or the fees paid for your subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (if any). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, the limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or in case of misuse. Sections intended to survive (e.g., IP, Disclaimers, Liability limits) will survive termination.

We may update the App or these Terms from time to time (for example, to reflect new features, pricing, or legal requirements). Material changes will be effective prospectively. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the Tokyo District Court (Japan) shall have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App. If your local law grants you mandatory consumer rights, this clause does not deprive you of those rights.

本アプリは Apple の App Store を通じて自動更新サブスクリプションを提供します。価格・提供状況は地域により異なり、購入時点でアプリ内および製品ページに表示されます。
プラン名と期間（例）： • NovelADV Premium（月額）：1 か月ごとに自動更新 • NovelADV Premium（年額）：12 か月ごとに自動更新（表示される場合、月換算の参考額を併記）
無料トライアル／導入割引：提供される場合、期間満了後に解約しない限り自動的に有料更新されます。購入時点で未使用のトライアル残期間は失効します。
課金・更新：支払いはApple ID に請求されます。現在期間の終了24 時間前以降に次回更新分が請求されることがあります。終了の 24 時間以上前までに解約しない限り自動更新されます。
管理・解約： iOS の 設定 ＞ [あなたの名前] ＞ サブスクリプション（または App Store アプリ ＞ アカウント ＞ サブスクリプション）からいつでも管理／解約できます。アプリを削除しても解約にはなりません。
返金：購入処理は Apple により行われます。返金は地域の Apple 方針に従い、https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ から申請してください。
購入の復元：新しいデバイスでは、同一 Apple ID でサインインのうえ、本アプリ内の購入復元を使用してください。
当社は法令に従い、将来に向けて機能・提供内容・価格を変更する場合があります（必要に応じて事前通知します）。

本アプリは、端末内処理や第三者 AI モデル／サービスを用いて物語・キャラクター・メディア等を生成・保存できます。 • AI 出力：AI 生成物は不正確・不完全・不適切な場合があります。利用者は結果を検証し、医療・法律等の専門助言として依拠しないでください。 • あなたのコンテンツ：作成したコンテンツに関する権利は原則としてあなたに留保されます。バックアップ／リストア等、本アプリ運用・改善に必要な範囲で処理するための限定的ライセンスを当社に付与します。 • 禁止コンテンツ・行為：違法、権利侵害、嫌がらせ・憎悪・搾取、プラットフォーム方針や各国法令に反するもの、またはレート制限・セキュリティの回避等は禁止します。
違反時はコンテンツ削除や利用停止・契約終了を行うことがあります。

本アプリは「現状有姿」および「提供可能な範囲」で提供されます。 法の許す最大限まで、当社は商品性・特定目的適合性・非侵害性その他一切の明示黙示の保証を否認します。 法の許す最大限まで、当社は間接的・付随的・特別・結果的・懲罰的損害、データ・利益・信用の喪失等について責任を負いません。当社の直接損害に対する総額責任は、あなたが本アプリに対して支払った対価、または直近 12 か月のサブスク料金の合計のいずれか高い方を上限とします（強行法規がある場合を除く）。

あなたはいつでも利用を中止できます。あなたが本規約に違反した場合、法令上必要な場合、または不正利用が疑われる場合、当社は利用停止・契約終了を行うことがあります。知財、免責、責任制限等の条項は終了後も存続します。

当社は適宜、本アプリまたは本規約を更新することがあります（新機能、価格改定、法令対応等）。重要な変更は原則として将来に向けて適用します。変更後の継続利用は新規約への同意を意味します。

本規約は日本法に準拠します。紛争は東京地方裁判所を第一審の専属的合意管轄裁判所とします（あなたの居住国の強行消費者保護法に基づく権利はこの限りではありません）。
